I have been tutoring privately since 2017 and became a full-time tutor in 2021. Over the years I have tutored hundreds of students both in person and online throughout the US and internationally (Ireland and the UK). My students have seen a high level of success in achieving their top choice of College, including Oxford and Cambridge in the UK.

I have taught from various exam boards including SAT, ACT, AP curricula and also all UK based exam boards. As I hold a degree in Theoretical Physics I provide additional support for students at University level in Physics and in various Math courses, specializing in Mechanics.

Tutoring Approach

I enjoy creating a relaxed environment for my students to flourish. I find this works best as they are encouraged to ask questions without feeling intimidated by the content. Tutoring in a two way street and open communication can accelerate the learning process.

I operate by encouraging students to reiterate and explain their steps throughout practice problems. This allows me to continually focus on any gaps in understanding that may occur and also to lead students towards the correct method/answer, rather than telling them outright. I find that this method makes it easier for students to remember the process since they have to work at it rather than just memorize a set of steps.
