As a senior at Mercer University studying Media Studies and Spanish, with a minor in Technical Communication and Marketing, I bring both academic knowledge and real-world experience to my tutoring sessions. I am a native Spanish speaker and have served as a Mercer Spanish tutor and student tutor for the past three years, working with students from many different backgrounds and learning styles.

I have experience teaching both English and Spanish to non-native speakers, including elementary and middle school students. This has helped me develop patience, adaptability, and creative teaching strategies that make learning engaging and accessible. I believe that every student learns differently, and I take the time to understand each learner’s strengths, challenges, and goals.

My tutoring approach is supportive, encouraging, and structured. I focus on building confidence while strengthening reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills. I use clear explanations, real-life examples, and interactive activities to help students truly understand the material rather than just memorize it.

In addition to language instruction, my background in social media marketing, content creation, and Adobe Creative Suite allows me to help students with digital communication, presentations, and creative projects. I aim to create a positive and comfortable learning environment where students feel motivated to ask questions and grow.

My goal is not only to help students succeed academically, but also to empower them with skills and confidence they can carry forward in their education and beyond.
