Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Great study session at the library. — I had Chris for PreCalculus study session at the local library and it worked out very well. He was easy to understand and while I have been out of school for 10 years I felt a lot of what I learned coming back. He also brought plenty of study materials for me to keep and afterwards emailed me with a lot of resources to help me. I definitely recommend him for anyone looking for a solid tutor. ...
