I have a degree in physics with a minor in math. Math classes I have taken include: Statistics, Calculus 1, 2, and 3, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, and Mathematical Methods of Physics. I also have experience working with students ranging from second grade to college in a variety of math courses. I am also able to help students understand applications of math concepts covered in their classes.

I am also able to help students understand applications of math concepts covered in their classes.

As I pursued my undergraduate degree in physics, I worked as a physics and mathematics tutor at Augusta State University (now known as Augusta University). I also held a position at a private tutoring center working with students ranging from second grade through college. The past 3 years, I have taught in a high school setting teaching Algebra I, Algebra II (both regular and honors), Honors Geometry, and AP Statistics. Currently, I am teaching Physics, AP Physics, and AP Statistics. I love helping students understand math - especially if they don't believe they can understand it. All students are capable of learning math, they simply need to to be shown a way that makes sense to them. You CAN do it!

The best tutor ever

He’s awesome!!! My son hates math, and he hates math teachers but he said “ I want HIM every time I need help...I finally understand “! He showed me how to do math on my level of understanding. I didn’t feel like a dummy. I felt involved in the session and left with a sense of accomplishment. Now I’m not afraid to answer questions in class, maybe I can even help someone else!
