Howdy! I’m Rishit, a patient and versatile tutor who helps students make sense of difficult material, strengthen their skills, and become more confident, independent learners. I work with students across a wide range of subjects, including Elementary Math and Reading, English, Prealgebra, Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus. I also support students preparing for exams such as the ASVAB and OAR, as well as learners working with Python, PyCharm, and ArcGIS.

Every student learns differently, so I tailor each session to the student’s current level, pace, and goals. We can work through class assignments, rebuild missing foundations, prepare for quizzes and exams, or get ahead in a course. Rather than simply showing a student how to reach the right answer, I break challenging concepts into manageable steps, explain the reasoning behind them, and use guided practice until the student can apply the skill independently. For test preparation, I identify weaker areas, create a focused review plan, and combine content review with realistic practice questions and test-taking strategies.

As someone with ADHD, I understand firsthand how frustrating learning can feel when a traditional explanation does not click. That experience has made me especially patient with students who learn differently or have lost confidence in a subject. I create a comfortable environment where questions and mistakes are part of the learning process, and I am always willing to slow down or approach a concept from another angle. My goal is for every student to leave our sessions understanding the material better and feeling more capable of succeeding on their own.
