Howdy! I’m Rishit, an experienced tutor who enjoys helping students build confidence and become stronger, more independent learners. I specialize in Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Prealgebra, Elementary Math, and reading comprehension, with a focus on making challenging concepts easier to understand.
I tailor each lesson to the student’s individual learning style, pace, and goals. Rather than simply showing students how to get the right answer, I help them understand the reasoning behind each concept and develop strategies they can use on their own. Whether a student is trying to catch up, strengthen foundational skills, prepare for a test, or get ahead, my goal is to make learning approachable, productive, and encouraging.
I also understand firsthand what it feels like to struggle academically. Growing up with severe ADHD, I had to discover learning strategies that helped me better absorb, organize, and retain information. That experience has made me especially patient with students who learn differently or become frustrated when traditional teaching methods don’t click.
My goal is to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions, making mistakes, and improving at their own pace. I want every student to leave our sessions not only understanding the material better, but also feeling more confident in their ability to succeed.
