I scored a perfect 800 on the SAT Math and 740 on the SAT Reading and was a National Merit Finalist and AP Scholar with Distinction. I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in business economics and am a political science textbook author. I started tutoring in college and have a decade of experience teaching STEM and test-prep classes at the top private school in my county, where I have helped students who went on to prestigious universities, including MIT, Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Duke, Johns Hopkins, Northwestern, Brown, Columbia, Notre Dame, Carnegie Mellon, and the Air Force Academy.

I have tutored from elementary homeschool students to adults in college and have taught middle and high school, including math through calculus, engineering classes, and AP courses in statistics, economics (AP Macroeconomics), and computer science (AP Computer Science Principles and AP Computer Science A). I believe knowledge is power and consistency is key and use evidence-based strategies to instill in students a lifelong love of learning. Overall Review of Tutoring with David

My daughter had David for tutoring in college Statistics for 10 tutoring sessions. She was taking a dual-enrolled college Statistics class and would not have been able to get through without David's help. David gave some great tips for how to handle class load, how to study for class/exam, as well as a very thorough down-to-earth explanation of statistics. My daughter decided to stay in this college statistics class rather than withdraw, and because of the tutoring help she had the highest grade in the class and ended up with an A. More importantly, I feel confident she had a much better grasp of statistics from tutoring with David than what she had from the college professor. Absolutely worth the time, money and effort. Our heartfelt thanks to David for giving her the skills and confidence to see it through!

Phenomenal tutor! Exceeded my expectations!

Initially I thought that David's hourly rate was out of my budget, due to the amount of hours I thought I'd need. He is worth every penny and then some! My only complaint is that I wish I'd found him sooner. He is extremely organized and thorough, words cannot express my gratitude towards him. He is very professional, and prior to meeting he spent a great amount of time with me on the phone and through email, assessing my strengths & weaknesses to devise a plan. He was available after meeting if I needed him. College Statistics is not an easy course, but David made it understandable in a short amount of time. If you need a great tutor, look no further!

Great tutor.

So far we have had 2 lessons for my daughter, David is very professional, organized and patient. He relates well to my daughter and she is comfortable with his teaching style. At each lesson he gives her specific areas to focus on prior to the next lesson. I feel fortunate to have found David, I was initially given a tutor that her math teacher recommended (retired math teacher) but I felt that David would be a much better fit and I am very happy I went with him.
