Timothy was very patient and well prepared. When starting a lesson, I realized he had already been working on the problem, since he could suddenly show to me a lot of typed in text. We discussed a problem from graph theory: finding if there exists a path in a graph containg a color a single time in a graph of colored vertices. Timothy proposed a pseudocode based on dynamic programming. We discussed the same problem also in terms of the boolean satisfiability (SAT) algorithm. Timothy would know and explain quite well the setting of the propositional logical based clauses to transform the initial problem into a boolean one. I will take new lessons in the furure.

Timothy and I met for one lesson thus far and in that one lesson, he showed love, patience and guidance based on where I was at. He listened to my questions, comments and concerns and gave input where I needed it. Sometimes, there was terminology he used that I had a hard time processing, but he definitely dumbed it down for me to get the point he was making or the problem needed me to understand. We spoke on basic topics and approaches from data structure and algorithms and later applied those basics to code. We tackled one coding problem in about 20-30 minutes of time and found 2 different solutions to the same problem using different data structures and algorithms. This made me feel good about my approach to understanding problem solving better and overall improving my code ability in J
