Hi, I'm Alejandro. During my time at UF, I completed advanced coursework including real analysis, numerical analysis, categorical data analysis, and linear algebra for data science, which gave me deep familiarity with the conceptual reasoning behind the topics most students find challenging. I am currently preparing to sit for the Society of Actuaries Exam P and Exam FM, so probability and financial mathematics are subjects I work with daily.
My tutoring experience has been built through informal one-on-one sessions with classmates throughout my undergraduate years, particularly in upper-division statistics and economics courses where I often helped peers prepare for midterms and finals. I have also completed an investment banking internship at Atoll, which has helped me explain abstract statistical and mathematical concepts in concrete, applied terms.
