Hi, I'm Klea! I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Florida, earning my Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences. I then went on to earn my Master's in Medical Sciences at the University of South Florida. I am currently a first-year resident physician.

I have a strong background serving as a tutor since I was in high school. I volunteered in after school programs tutoring elementary and middle school aged children. As I progressed through my education, I continued tutoring throughout college and medical school. In college, I tutored as a teaching assistant for biology, biochemistry, physiology and anatomy. In my masters program and medical school, I served as a teaching assistant for anatomy lab. I genuinely enjoy teaching and helping students achieve their goals. I like to teach based on each individual student's personalized learning styles. I utilize creative methods such as drawing pictures or telling a story to help teach material to students. I always did best as a student when I found ways to make what I was learning fun and engaging.

I tutor people of all ages - from elementary school to graduate school and beyond. My areas of expertise include basic sciences (such as biochemistry and biology), literature (proofreading essays, grammar, reading comprehension), pre-med classes, and med school curriculum (anatomy, pharmacology, physiology, etc). I am also very passionate about mentorship and professional development. I am happy to help with the college and medical school application process. This includes reading your personal statement, interview prep, refining your CV and more.

My goal is to help you reach your goals! The goal of the first meeting is to get to know each other, discuss what you would like to achieve with tutoring and start working towards those objectives. Please feel free to message me to schedule your first meeting or with any additional questions. Thank you!

Through college I help with selecting coursework and creating a schedule that will help students succeed. I met with my mentees regularly and was always available for any questions.
Pharmacology

Pharmacology

I tutored pharmacology in both my master's program and med school. It is a subject I thoroughly enjoy teaching and making easier to understand for students. I have helped students understand everything there is about drug classes, side effects, potential interactions and high yield points.
Public Speaking

Public Speaking

I have given countless public presentations since I was in high school. As a medical student, I have traveled to national conferences and presented in front of 100s of people. My extensive experience in public speaking is helpful in providing strategies and pointers to master this skill and be your utmost confident self while doing it.
USMLE

USMLE

Scored in the 80th percentile on USMLE Step 2 exam. Have tutored students for USMLE helping them improve significantly and often surpassing their goal score on the actual exam. I teach by helping break down questions and tackling high yield questions. I help students recognize their strength and weaknesses and focus on improving their weaker areas by giving lectures, reviewing questions and hosting quizzing sessions.

Amazing at editing CV

I was struggling with integrating personality and flow into my CV for medical school admissions and she was able to use the rough draft I had given her alongside additional information through a conversation we had, where she was patient and very understanding, to edit my CV and craft a personal narrative and personality to my CV and it exceeded my expectations. Thank you Klea!
