Dear Students,

If you’re struggling with math or science, don’t panic — these subjects are genuinely beautiful once they start to make sense. Many students feel frustrated or confused due to unclear instruction or past experiences, but seeking help is already the first and most important step toward clarity and confidence. Whatever your situation, you’re not alone, and you absolutely can succeed.

My name is Kyle, and as your tutor, my goal is to help you build a strong foundation and learn how to effectively apply what you know to solve problems and answer questions. This approach leads directly to improved grades, stronger test performance, and lasting confidence in your abilities. I hold a Ph.D. in Physics from Georgia State University, where I have taught over 20 credit hours of physics, and I earned the Teaching Assistant of the Year Award for outstanding instruction. I also hold a B.S. in Biology (Pre-Med track) from Nova Southeastern University and have professional experience as an SAT tutor.

My teaching philosophy emphasizes clear, step-by-step explanations, a deep focus on conceptual understanding, and confidence-building through practice and learning from mistakes. By developing both a strong grasp of core ideas and the skills to apply them, students can overcome frustration and achieve mastery. Whether you’re preparing for an exam, catching up in class, or aiming to excel in advanced material, I’m here to guide you every step of the way and help you reach your academic goals.

Algebra 2

Algebra 2

I have over two years of teaching experience at FIU in physics and professional tutoring experience in SAT Math, including Algebra 2.
Neuroscience

Neuroscience

I hold a PhD in Physics with research expertise in neurophysics, brain connectivity, and computational neuroscience. My work involves advanced analysis of fMRI, dMRI, EEG, and large-scale neural dynamics, giving me a deep understanding of how neural systems operate across multiple scales. I emphasize conceptual clarity, systems-level intuition, and strong problem-solving strategies grounded in modern neuroscience methods. I’m comfortable teaching neuroscience topics at all undergraduate levels and supporting students in quantitative or theory-focused courses.
Physics

Physics

I am a Physics PhD student at Georgia State in Fall 2019 seeking to specialize in theoretical neurophysics. I have over two years teaching experience in physics at FIU and professional tutoring experience.
Quantum Physics

Quantum Physics

I hold a PhD in Physics with advanced graduate training in quantum mechanics and related fields. I tested out of my department’s qualifying exam in this subject and have extensive experience helping students master the concepts and math required to succeed in quantum physics courses. My approach emphasizes intuitive insight, early comfort with bra–ket notation, and clear, structured problem-solving methods. I can guide students through all levels of quantum mechanics, from introductory coursework to advanced graduate material.
Thermodynamics

Thermodynamics

I hold a PhD in Physics with extensive graduate-level training in thermodynamics, statistical mechanics, and complex systems, along with additional expertise in neurophysics. Part of my dissertation research involved developing a gauge-theoretic, thermodynamic model of cognition and emergence, giving me a uniquely deep perspective on the foundations and applications of thermal physics. I emphasize clear physical intuition, structured problem-solving, and the ability to connect equations to real physical processes. I’m comfortable teaching thermodynamics at all levels, from introductory coursework through advanced graduate statistical mechanics.
