I earned my bachelor's degree in Microbiology with a minor in Bioinformatics from the University of Florida in 2022, graduating magna cum laude. During undergrad, I worked as a writing and English tutor at Palm Beach State College’s Student Learning Center for two years, where I helped hundreds of students with everything from basic composition to thesis proofreading and resume development. I also served as a Teaching Assistant for Microbiology Lab, supporting students through complex scientific material in both lecture and hands-on settings.
Currently, I’m pursuing my Master’s in Medical Entomology at UF while working professionally in the UF Interdisciplinary Center for Biotechnology Research (ICBR) Flow Cytometry Core. For the past 2.5 years, I’ve specialized in educating researchers on flow cytometry techniques, panel design, and instrument operation—breaking down dense technical material into understandable, practical knowledge.
I’m passionate about teaching and love making challenging topics more approachable. Whether it’s English composition or molecular biology, I strive to connect abstract ideas to real-world contexts that matter to each student. My style is friendly, engaging, and focused on building confidence. I believe that with the right guidance, any subject can become not only manageable, but genuinely interesting.
Let’s work together to make your goals achievable and your learning experience rewarding.
