I am a federal prosecutor (Assistant United States Attorney) and professional writing/advocacy coach. I help law students and bar applicants strengthen legal writing, improve essay performance, and build clear, confident reasoning under time pressure. I passed both the Florida and California bar exams on the first attempt, and I teach structured, repeatable approaches, not just memorization alone.

I can help if you are:
• A 1L adapting to legal writing (memos, case briefs, outlining, IRAC/CRAC structure)
• Preparing for the MEE, MPT, Florida, or California essay components
• Struggling with timing, issue-spotting, or translating understanding into written analysis
• Preparing for moot court, oral argument, or trial advocacy
• Seeking clear feedback that improves organization, reasoning, and persuasive clarity

How Sessions Work:
Each session is structured and collaborative. We break assignments and bar tasks into manageable steps, work through examples in real time, and develop frameworks you can reuse across classes, exams, and practice settings. The goal is to make your thinking transparent and persuasive on the page.

Results:
Students I work with report stronger grades in 1L and upper-level courses, improved bar essay performance, and greater confidence in oral advocacy and presentation. Many continue applying the same methods in clinics, internships, and early practice.

This tutoring is provided exclusively in my personal capacity. It does not involve legal representation, legal advice, or the views of the U.S. Department of Justice or the United States Attorney’s Office.

From Blank Page to Finished Essay I Actually Like

Working with Conor completely changed how I felt about my college essay. At first I didn’t even know where to start, but he helped me figure out what story I really wanted to tell and showed me how to put it into words. He gave honest feedback that actually made sense and pushed me to make my essay the best it could be without ever taking over my voice. By the end, I had a personal statement that I’m proud of and excited to submit. Conor is the kind of tutor who makes you feel confident in your own ideas — I’d recommend him to anyone applying to college.
