I have 11 years of experience in programming. I began in middle school learning C++ for robotics projects and continued this education into high school with more advanced robotics projects involving some Java. During this time, I taught many peers how to code in these languages. I have 11 years of experience in programming. I began in middle school learning C++ for robotics projects and continued this education into high school with more advanced robotics projects involving some Java. During this time, I taught many peers how to code in these languages. In my undergraduate degree, I excelled in my programming courses and improved my understanding of computer theory and discrete mathematics. I am now working towards my PhD in Computer Engineering. As of now, I am proficient in Python, C++, Java, and JavaScript. I have also had some experience with Haskell and Lua. I have used these extremely diverse circumstances, from various projects such as making Discord Chatbots with GPT, Minecraft modding, web development, algorithmic crypto trading bots, cancer classification from cell images, and all sorts of other projects. Currently, I am mostly using Python for funded research grant work and artificial intelligence coursework.

I have done 2 years of online tutoring experience on the Varsity platform. I am proud to say I only received 5 star reviews while I was on that platform. I have also done various tutoring jobs as a volunteer in high school and during my undergraduate program. I've taught all ages of students, from middle school to adult. I have most often taught AP Computer Science classes and programming courses at various experience levels and languages.

Approved Subjects

Computer Engineering

Computer Engineering

I am a 2nd year graduate student in a Computer Engineering phd program. My undergraduate degree is in CS, but I have worked on various projects that overlap with computer engineering, such as robotics competitions and collaborative simulations.
Computer Programming

Computer Programming

Computer Science B.S, Computer Engineering PhD in progress
Computer Science

Computer Science

I have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and 11 years of programming experience. I am actively working on Graduate computer engineering research.
Discrete Math

Discrete Math

Discrete math is part of the core Computer Science curriculum. I passed discrete 1 and 2 with an A, and my Discrete 2 professor wrote me a recommendation for grad school. I routinely use concepts from discrete mathematics (Combinatorics, Boolean Logic, Set Theory, Graph Theory, etc) in my day-to-day responsibilities as a graduate research engineer.
Java

Java

I've taught many students the AP Computer Science A curriculum, which is based on the Java language. I have used Java for several projects, including my computer science coursework and robotics.
Machine Learning/ AI

Machine Learning/ AI

As a Computer Engineering graduate AI researcher, my primary responsibility is to study and contribute to the growing body of AI/ML research. Currently, I have published two papers in the field of AI: 1. Neuro-Symbolic Program Synthesis for Multi-Hop Natural Language Navigation, published in ICAA (International Conference on Assured Autonomy), 2024, 2. NSP: A Neuro-Symbolic Natural Language Navigational Planner, published in ICMLA (International Conference on Machine Learning and Applications), 2024. I also have a third paper that has been accepted to the International Conference on Machine Learning, that will be published this July.
Python

Python

Extensive use of Python in Artifical Intelligence and Machine Learning research
Robotics

Robotics

I have been involved in the field of robotics since I was 13, beginning with the BotBall competition and transitioning into the more popular F.I.R.S.T robotics competition when I entered high school. While I served as our lead programmer and team captain, we secured multiple awards, including Highest Rookie Seed at the Orlando and Idaho region competitions in 2019. Throughout my career as a private educator, I have worked with students participating in robotics, as well as teachers wishing to serve as a mentor on their school's robotics team. My most recent robotics experience is in the graduate-level class at the University of Florida- "EEL 5934: Autonomous Robotics".

Very knowledgable and intuitive tutor

Will is a great Tutor, He has been able to illustrate various Python programming concepts that have been confusing me throughout my PCEP certification journey and has also provided a lot of insight into other aspects of real-world software development such as (aws, api usage and machine learning,) for projects that i am working on.
