I am a recent University of Florida graduate, having earned my bachelor's degree in Music combined with pre-medical coursework. I am currently working on my Master's in Public Health also at the University of Florida and I work as a research technician in a biochemistry lab in the College of Medicine. I tutor a wide variety of subjects: Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Precalculus and Trigonometry, General Chemistry, Biology, Psychology, Music Theory, and more.
I have 8 years of tutoring experience. I excel at standardized tests and test preparation. I scored a 1460 on the SAT and a 511 on the MCAT. I aim to teach my students optimal study skills that will build a foundation not just for their current course load, but for the future of their academic career. I help students create flashcard systems and study plans as well as assisting in breaking down current coursework to aid in deep understanding of course material.
I am also available for violin lesson. I have 15 years of experience playing and a degree in music. I specialize in beginning to intermediate ability levels. I will only accept violin lessons in person in Melbourne, FL and the surrounding area.
For all tutoring I am available in person or over zoom. I accept same-day bookings but do require any material you would like to work on to be submitted to me at least an hour before the lesson so I have time to prepare. I am currently located in Gainesville, FL Tuesday and Wednesday and Melbourne, FL Thursday-Monday.
