Hi there! I'm an honors student at the University of Maryland, and I'm super excited to be working towards my Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences. I'm on the pre-med track, and I'm set to graduate in Spring 2026. My classes in biology and chemistry have given me a really solid foundation in the sciences, and honestly, I've always just loved helping my friends and classmates understand these subjects. It's so rewarding to see that 'aha!' moment when something clicks for them.

Last Fall, I had an amazing experience as a Teaching Assistant for a university-level microbiology course. It was so much fun! I got to lead lab experiments, help explain tricky concepts during class, and work closely with students to get them ready for exams. I spent a lot of time breaking down complicated topics into easier, bite-sized pieces, answering all sorts of questions, and making sure everyone felt super confident going into their assessments. It was really important to me that they felt supported and understood everything.
I've also had the pleasure of tutoring biology and chemistry to students of all ages, ranging from elementary schoolers, around 6 years old, to high schoolers, 18 years old. I've done both one-on-one sessions and small group tutoring, and I always try to adjust my style to fit what each student needs. My goal is to make explanations super clear, get them actively involved in solving problems, and give them lots of encouragement so they can improve and stay motivated. I truly believe learning should be a positive and empowering experience!
