Experienced Accountant and French Tutor

I'm Alexandra! I graduated with a Master's of Accounting degree and currently work as a Staff Accountant for a non-profit. In college it was the instructors who made my education so interesting and engaging. They were willing to go above and beyond when I needed help or clarification. I try to have the same approach with tutoring students.

During college, I was a finance intern for a large public corporation, and it was there that I learned the value of having my questions answered by experts. It was by shadowing these finance specialists and asking them for explanations that I learned so much valuable information. Throughout these last few years, I have attained certifications in introductory French, in addition to various accounting subjects and Excel. I also took several classes at my university in all of these business and accounting subjects. After graduating with my Master of Accounting degree, I began working for a public accounting firm as an auditor. Later, I transitioned to non-profit accounting and continued working as a French tutor for high school students.

My experience as a tutor involves working in person with other students at my university, as well as teaching online students at various universities and high schools throughout their study of French, Financial Accounting, and other subjects. My approach as a tutor is to be flexible and adjust to the learning styles of each student. I want to help students learn and have the confidence they need to succeed.

I work as a Staff Accountant at a non-profit and I have studied and taught both French and accounting. I love seeing the light bulb go on when something clicks, and I would love to help students learn concepts when learning French, Financial Accounting, or other subjects.
