During high school, I enjoyed volunteering as a tutor to help students who were struggling in their math classes. I worked with students one-on-one during school hours, and I helped them build the mathematical foundations that they needed in order to succeed in their classes. I focused on ensuring that each student understood fundamental math concepts on an intuitive level, as I found that focusing on filling the gaps in each individual's understanding of the most fundamental concepts produced amazing results for their academic performance. Outside of school hours, I also tutored students who were looking for general help in their classes or who desired help preparing for the SAT, ACT, or PSAT.
I earned perfect scores on both the SAT and the ACT, and I was accepted into several Ivy League universities and top-tier colleges. I am passionate about helping my students become confident, independent learners who believe in their own ability to achieve a full understanding of any topic. My tutoring approach focuses on building deep understanding, not just memorization, and adapting to each student's individual learning style to make any material (no matter how advanced or complex) clear and accessible. I believe that every student should experience the joy and the freedom that come with truly understanding a concept on the deepest possible level.
