I graduated from Vanderbilt University ('21) with a major in Public Policy and minors in Spanish and Economics. I carried a 3.75 GPA and received Dean's List honors all 8 semesters. I also published personal creative essays in the Vanderbilt Review. Now I am a second year law student at Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, DC. Here at Georgetown, I am currently in the top 10% of my class of over 500 students (3.83 GPA) and am a Staff Editor on the American Criminal Law Review.
To craft your best personal essay, we will start by discussing your most formative life experiences. Then we will distill strengths, weaknesses, and growth trajectories from those stories. Then I'll empower you to find your voice and form a narrative that describes yourself with clarity, authenticity, and impact.
I specialize in helping students craft compelling personal growth essays for college, law school, and fellowship applications. Over the past 3 years, I have tutored 5 students applying to college and 5 students applying to law school on both a volunteer and paid basis. Additionally, having applied to law school in 2022, I have very recent experience writing over 30 application essays—including personal statements, diversity statements, and school-specific essays. Through this experience, I have come to understand the effort and strategy required to stand out in admissions.
