Interest Based Reading, Phonics-Based Instruction, Multi-Sensory Approaches, Guided Reading, Comprehension Strategies, Repeated-Reading, Vocabulary Development, Scaffolded Instruction, Assessment and Progress Monitoring, Positive Reinforcement and Motivation are the strategies that can be tailored to meet the unique needs of each struggling reader, fostering their growth and building their confidence in literacy.
My Bachelor of Science is in Elementary Education and Middle School. My Master's Degree is in Administration in Education with a Minor in Global Leadership. I have many certifications that support teaching, technology, literacy, and leadership such as; Intel to Teach, Read 180, Wilson Reading, Teachstone CLASS Observer, Google Certified Educator, and Wilson Reading. I have held teaching certificates with DC Office of State Superintendent of Education, Maryland, Georgia, and Florida at various stages of my career.
