Hello! My name is Tyler and I'm a male in my 30's, and originally from Denver, Colorado. I'm a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with 9 years of experience, working primarily with children of various ages, ranging from preschool, elementary, and junior-high school-age, with some experience in providing services to adult clients.

As an Early Interventionist and school-based SLP, I have supported students with a variety of needs, including articulation/phonological disorders, expressive and receptive language disorders, fluency disorders, and autism spectrum disorders (ASD). My experience has included supporting parents and other adults/professionals, such as teachers, to provide carryover speech-language therapy to students with communication disorders. I aim to provide family-centered, culturally sensitive services, to facilitate functional gains within the students' daily lives.

I have also worked with adults to support their fluency, using fluency shaping, and stuttering modification techniques; as well as adults who are seeking accent modification to support their clarity with speaking English as a second language.

Thank you for your consideration. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions.

ESL/ESOL

While working as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the previous 9 years, I have provided speech and language therapy services to preschool-age, school-age, and young adult clients who have varying communicative, social, behavioral, and cognitive needs. As a public school-based SLP, I worked with children who were ESL learners to assess them if their speech-language differences were due to a speech-language delay, or a speech-language difference due to English being their second language. In either situation, I would provide support to teachers and parents of these students to support the students' acquisition of English. My approach to tutoring ESL is to consult and collaborate with you on what specific goals you would like to achieve in your learning. Please contact me with any potential areas you would like support in and we can consult to determine if my services would be appropriate for your needs.

I have also worked with adults who benefited from fluency shaping and stuttering modification techniques, which also included functional public speaking activities.
