Hello, I'm Lia! I graduated Virginia Tech with a bachelor's degree in physics and a minor in math. I am currently pursuing a PhD in physics at Colorado State University. Diligent and caring physics tutor

Lia assisted my daughter with physics. My daughter was initially resistant to working with a tutor, but Lia put her at ease immediately. She was super kind, down-to-earth, patient and helpful. She created different scenarios and asked questions to make sure my daughter really grasped the material. She never just showed my daughter how to solve a problem. She asked my daughter questions for each step along the way before coming to the conclusion. She also never made my daughter feel dumb for not knowing an answer. She would simply rephrase the question or give an explanation about that step in a different way that made sense so that my daughter would then know the correct answer. Lia is an excellent tutor. I highly recommend her, and we will most definitely be using her again for tutoring!
