I am a published writer and artist with more than a decade of experience in journalism. Dating back to high school, I have been volunteering my time to help other students further their education. Whether I was assisting elementary-level students with homework in an afterschool program or teaching at a summer camp, I found fulfillment in knowing I was helping other people.

While my direct experience relates to these extracurricular activities, I have worked with students of all ages. I am also open to teaching adults looking to further their own education.

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Suffolk University, I began my career reporting for the local paper before the internet reshaped the digital media landscape. I quickly found myself in content marketing, holding leadership roles in writing, editing, and editorial team management. In 2014, I took a leap of faith after receiving a freelance reporting opportunity. It was then that I decided to leave the 9-to-5 grind and begin reporting remotely for a wide range of digital publications. Over the course of my freelance journalism career, I have accumulated writing and editing experience in industries including biotech/biopharma, technology, digital photography, marketing, lifestyle, and entertainment. I continue to work as a freelance writer and editor from my home in Denver, Colorado.

In my spare time, I create art with mediums spanning from ink-and-paper to acrylic paint. My creative writing has been featured in literary magazines and journals. I have also been fortunate enough to showcase my work as a member of various art associations.
