Hi, I’m Patrick! I have a B.S. in Industrial Design and 10 years of professional experience working as a designer, illustrator, and fabricator. Over the course of my career, i found my calling as a mentor and am excited to share my knowledge and experience with anyone who wants to understand and explore the creative world and improve their skills.
I have three months of experience working as an after-school instructor teaching an elementary science curriculum. This job is with groups of 18 children, grades K-5, in a classroom setting. I also have 3 months of volunteer experience mentoring 12 middle and high school aged children working together to build a wooden sail boat.
I believe that it’s a tutor’s job to understand how a student learns and mold their instruction to meet their needs; I take this responsibility seriously. Whether a student learns by doing or by explanation, I’m excited to help them explore and understand whatever their interests may be.
