Two weeks later, I got an A on the first exam, at which point I stopped going to class altogether. I found that in 2 or 3 hours, Yasmina and I could cover a week's worth of in-class material. Not only that, she found a way to make the math actually fun! I learned comprehension and understanding, as opposed to memorization. I ended the semester with an A and got the highest final exam grade across all sections of the course (1000+ college students). I attribute every ounce of my success and understanding in this course to Yasmina's remarkable teaching ability. I could not have done it without her. My experience was worth every penny, and I highly recommend her to anyone struggling or looking to get ahead in math.

I decided to pursue my dream and apply for nursing school. I had been out of school for almost a decade and math was always my weakest point. I failed my teas exam miserable when I applied. I am struggling with PreCalc 2 and didn’t know how the basics even worked. Yasmina is super patient, sweet, and encouraging. We did a lesson on the basics and she did not undermine me and answered my questions in a way in which I can understand. By the end I learned something new that should’ve been taught to me long ago. Tutoring saved my grade
I started with Yasmina after the first couple of weeks in pre-calculus class. I’d already scored a 33 on a test and my average was easily an F. After my first session, my confidence began to grow. I scored a 73 on my second exam. Progress. After my third session, I was able to completely catch up on my lessons and scored a 100 on my exam that week. Yasmina is so patient and explains everything at a pace that lets the students absorb the information. I’m happy to say that I now have a B average in a class I just knew that I’d fail. I highly recommend using her!!

Learner Centered and Knowledgeable
I love that Yazmina has focused on my daughter’s needs and built upon her strengths in order to boost my daughters confidence in her math. My 8th grader looks forward to her sessions! When the sessions are over, I ask my daughter for a recap and she can tell me what she learned and what conceptual understandings have been clarified.
