Hi there! My name is Paige and I absolutely LOVE sharing my passions with students of all ages! I have a variety of interests and experience and would be thrilled to get to know you and your student. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Liberty University with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies, with emphases in Communications, Business, and Religion.

As I entered school, I quickly figured out that my brain works with words. Whether you're struggling with creative writing or a 10-page essay, I am here to help. We'll work on essential skills, such as outlining and word choice, as well as crafting engaging, informative, and creative writing pieces. I can also help with English homework and test prep!

No matter what field you enter, at some point you may be called on to speak to an audience. Is public speaking one of your greatest fears? I would love to help! Together, we'll work on writing a compelling speech, developing a comfortable yet eloquent speaking style, and learn tools to decrease anxiety and stage fright.

Is your student struggling with elementary math or algebra I? Using real-life application and plenty of practice, I will help your child master fundamental skills in a safe and encouraging learning environment.

I want to make sure I can work with you and your learning style and specific needs, so I'll give a free consultation meeting and demonstrate the online learning platform at no cost. Feel free to contact me with any questions and look at my qualifications!

Algebra 1

Since middle school, I have ranked in college-level skills, both in writing and mathematics. I have math experience through calculus and am comfortable using methods that appeal to all types of learning styles, including visual. After taking a College Mathematics CLEP (equivalent to testing out of the class), I received a score of 76 out of a possible 80.
Bible Studies

Bible Studies

I've been studying Scripture for 12+ years utilizing both self-study methods (based on well-known Bible teachers) and performing both verse-by-verse and topical studies from authors such as Kay Arthur and Nathan Johnson. I took an comprehensive, 2-year Biblical Worldview course involving the study of not only Christianity and apologetics, but also world religions in general. I'm currently in the process of writing my first Bible study.

To earn college credit, I took a College Composition CLEP (College Level Examination Program, equivalent to a final exam for a college class) test and earned 80 points out of a possible 80- a perfect score. I won second place nationally for my age group in a poetry contest and first regionally for a short story competition, and was asked to write historical fiction for a history homeschool curriculum. I am the secretary for the Cherry Creek Historical Society and regularly write articles for the newsletter, "The Quill". I published an article in "The Old Schoolhouse" homeschool magazine, and most recently published an article on historic demonstrations in "Country Extra", a nationally-syndicated publication.

Needlework

I've been crafting with yarn for almost ten years. I entered multiple pieces into our county fair and took home multiple first and second place ribbons, including a "best in show" prize for the junior needlework division. I regularly do demonstrations of crafting techniques such as spinning and tatting at a historic site in our area.
Public Speaking

Public Speaking

I participated in a group speech class, writing and presenting multiple kinds of speeches for two years. In 2020, I transferred to a speech club associated with the nationally-recognized STOA student speech and debate organization, where I'm currently a nationally ranked speaker. In my very first tournament, I took home a first place trophy in original oratory. In 2020, I participated in an oratorical competition with Optimist International and won a college scholarship for placing second in my district. In 2021, I competed in the American Legion Oratorical Competition, where I won first place in the state of Colorado.
