I am a patient and experienced tutor that is doing this job professionally. Please spend couple of minutes to take a look at my testimonials to see what my students are saying about my tutoring style and experience. 2016 was an important year for me, since I graduated from University of California-Irvine, Paul Merage School of Business with Business Administration degree, and also School of Social Sciences with Economics degree. I had some challenges to make a decision about to apply for jobs or continue my tutoring business professionally. Finally my love of teaching won, and I decided to continue my tutoring job as my profession.
I had lots of tutoring activities in 2016. I did work with 47 students for more than 750 hours on wyzant platform alone. I had to drive more than 8700 miles, which worth it. My students’ requests mainly were on Calculus, Statistics, Economics, and Pre-calculus in addition to Accounting, Finance, Trigonometry, Geometry, and Algebra. My students ranged from High School up to MBA students. I had lots of repeating students, which I am working with some of them for 3 years. The maximum number of lessons I have done with a College student is 37, and High School student is 78 lessons. All these happened mostly in the second half of 2016 since I was a full time student till June, and I just graduated in June. I am looking for a more productive 2017 by teaching more students and helping them to get better grades by understanding the materials.
My experience in management combined with my education on Business Administration, and Economics matched with my great understanding of math subjects, gave me unique ability to explain different topics to my students. No matter if it is math related topics such as trigonometry or calculus, or business related topics such as accounting, finance, or business science, I am able to explain them clearly. I worked with many students on math subjects such as college algebra, trigonometry, multivariable calculus, and statistics; and business subjects such as business calculus, business science, business statistics, financial and managerial accounting, finance, investment, stock market, and derivatives as well as economics topics such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, global economics, banking and finance markets.
All these topics are challenging subjects, and usually are requirements for many different majors. I highly suggest that you contact me or any other tutor you think could be helpful as soon as you think you are struggling in the course. The topics will build on each other in these courses and it is very hard to catch up if you fall behind on the topics.
I am also expert on fast paced and online courses. I am here to help, but I need to start working with you early in the course. It is very important to gather the points for the course from the start. In these kinds of courses, material always builds on each other and it is very hard to recover the previous topics and lost points. Please do not wait till you go to the “unrecoverable grade area”, and contact me as soon as you start the course, or even earlier. My goal is to help you get the highest grade by understanding the material and I am sure your goal is the same too. I have more than 10 years of experience in the management which gives me an advantage on explaining and solving the conceptual problems. The conceptual problems are the biggest enemy of math students and their grades. Many students lose points on these kinds of problems since they have to understand the problem, analyze the situation, switch it to mathematics, use skills to solve the problem, and finally switch their outcomes back to a presentable answers or reports.
Here is why you should take care of your course early:
The most important reason students get frustrated with mathematics and statistics is because they do not know how to solve the problems and this comes from the lack of the required skills. The fact is different mathematics subjects are all related to each other. If not impossible, it is hard to pass a Calculus II course without passing Calculus I. For mathematics, you need to learn skills step by step. However, for some other subjects such as history this is not true. You can start history from any point of the time without a need to know too much about what happened before.
And some facts about me:
I am a graduate from Paul Merage School of Business with a Business Administration degree, and School of Social Science with a Economics degree. My emphasis for Management is Accounting, and Finance. Although it was not required, my love of mathematics made me to take as much as possible mathematics and statistics courses. I have more than 40 units of mathematics in my transcript all with grade A. I got my AA in mathematics from Chaffey College and I also awarded from mathematics department of Chaffey College for outstanding Calculus student. I used to work in the Chaffey College as a Supplemental Instruction Leader which helps students in algebra to get better grades. As my badge tells I have more than 3,100 hours of private tutoring just on wyzant.com and most of them are regular students, which I started to work with them from beginning of their course till the final exam day. Also, many of my students have taken more than two courses with me since I offer broad range of related topics.
My method is not just to sit with students and repeat what their teachers already told them. I always walk with my students through the problems and explain them wherever they get stuck. I will not proceed to the next topic until I make sure that my student got the current material.
The Tutor You Need
This semester Nader made my courseload a lot more manageable. I took on quite a few units with Calc 1, Micro/Macro, Accounting 2 etc. However, Nader was able to help me in all of these math/econ/business classes. Even if we were solely focusing on Calculus Nader helped connect ideas to my other classes. Nader wants his students to succeed and even if you understand the material he will make sure to push you to your potential. With Nader's help, I was able to pull perfect A's across the board. I was scared to take calculus but with Nader, it was a breeze. He made sure I was prepared for my exams and as a result, I scored near 100% on all my exams. If you are looking for a tutor in any of his subjects of expertise I highly recommend him. Thanks again for your help and I will see you next semester for Calc 2!Hudson, 10 lessons with NaderTutor responded:
Dear Hudson, Many thanks for your nice testimonial. I am very happy that I was able to help you with different subjects. As you said, I like to challenge my students and make them understand the relations between math equations and their use on real world problems. I will be happy to work with you on Calculus 2 as well as other Economics or Business courses.
Knowledgeable and patient tutor
Nader is a great tutor! His interactive style of teaching help me to learn and understand math concepts I struggled with for a long time. I highly recommend him for anyone who struggle with math but wants to learn.Bryan, 17 lessons with NaderTutor responded:
Thanks Bryan for your nice words. I am very happy that I was able to help you with your math needs starting with algebra up to calculus and calculus based statistics. I wish you the best in your MBA quest.
Patient, educational tutor
Nader is a great tutor -- he wanted to make sure that I understood the material (rather than just answering the questions that I had). I was really struggling with calculus and derivatives when one of my college courses unexpectedly included this content for a lesson. I really appreciate him taking the time to pause and test me on certain areas just to make sure that we were both on the same understanding. He was able to clearly explain what and where I was going wrong.Kenny, 1 lesson with NaderTutor responded:
Dear Kenny, I am very happy that I was able to clear your calculus obstacle for your course. That is always my goal to make sure you understand the material rather than just receiving the answer.
Great tutor, very knowledgable and patient
Nader is a great and knowledgable tutor. He helped me better understand the economic models used in my international economics course. He explains very well and goes through many examples until I understand the concept well. Nader not only teaches me the steps to solving a problem, but also why we are doing them, which is very important!Alejandra, 4 lessons with NaderTutor responded:
Dear Alejandra, I am very happy that I am able to help you with this high level International Economics course. In my opinion, relating the concepts to understandable examples are the key to understanding the material better.
Nader is very good in tutoring math and very detail oriented. He really helped my son improve his grade. Lots of people could know the subject well but not everyone has the talent to explain well and Nader definitely is talented in explaining math!Nevine , 2 lessons with NaderTutor responded:
Dear Nevine, I am very happy that I am able to help your son. He is a smart boy, and needs some in detail guidance. I am sure he will be able to improve his knowledge and grade with my help.
Nader taught my son economics. He was struggling with it. Nader helped him in a short time to raise his grades from F to C within two weeks and my son started to understand it better. He knows how to explain the material really well. That’s what my son told me and his grades are still going up. Thank you, Nader.Luna , 13 lessons with NaderTutor responded:
Dear Luna, I am very happy that I am able to help your son. He is a bright young man and needs some more in detail explanations. In fact, when I use more challenging method of using calculus he understand it better, which shows his ability to connect the concepts. I am hoping to raise his grade even further although we have a limited time.
Great tutor/Great guy
I'm a student at Boston College and before I started tutoring with Nader I didn't have the slightest clue of what I was doing in my economic statistics course (it's widely regarded as one of the hardest courses and economics major will take at BC). In only two sessions, Nader was able to teach me the ins and outs of statistics, and now I have a firm grasp on the topic. I believe Nader is a good tutor for many reasons. His knowledge of the subject matter is impeccable, but that goes without saying. His method of teaching his students is what makes him the best tutor I have ever worked with. When he explains something, he starts off with an example at a very basic level which the student can easily understand. He then relates this example into the broader context of the topic, building upon the previous knowledge which he had already imparted on the student. He explains everything very thoroughly and answers every question thrown at him. If there were a ranking for tutors he would be 10/10. Would highly recommend.George, 14 lessons with NaderTutor responded:
Thanks for the nice words, George! I am very happy to help you on your Economical Statistics and Accounting topics. Both of these courses are challenging, but I am sure you will do great in both courses as we progress. Keep up the hard work!
Great tutor... thanks for all your help! I needed help with my homework, I waited until the last minute, my tutor came to the rescue, he was very patient and knowledgeable.Cristina, 11 lessons with Nader

Dear Rashmi, Thanks for your nice feedback. I am happy that I was able to help you with your comprehensive econometrics project and paper. Keep up the hard work and you will get the results you want for sure.
Accomplished & Accommodating Tutor!
Nader has helped me with an online Business Calculus class that encompasses calculus, statistics, predictive modeling, and optimization. The class not only focuses on the foundations of these topics but also goes a step further into the modeling and application of these tools within all the functional areas of business. Nader has gone through each lesson with me step by step, not only going over the lectures provided by the teacher but adding his own examples and material to further help my understanding. He is an incredibly accommodating tutor - whether we are reviewing material on a broader spectrum, or going step by step in examples he is able to make sense of the theories and problems I struggle with. He takes the time to truly understand his students and adapt to their learning and comprehension. In just a few short sessions he is able to understand my learning style and is even able to predict mistakes I am most likely to make on new material, thus saving me from losing points on homework assignments and tests. Nader also takes his tutoring a step further, applying everything we cover to the real world. He explains where and how I will use these ideas in the future, which not only helps my understanding of the material but makes me want to understand the material. I would 100% recommend Nader to any student!Daniela, 22 lessons with NaderTutor responded:
Dear Daniela, I am very happy that my tutoring style helps you understand the material better. As you mentioned your course is very comprehensive on covering different topics related to business from calculus, to finance, and statistics. I am sure you will do great on this course and will use your knowledge in your profession too.
