I taught and tutored Chemistry in in both universities first as a tutor and also as a teacher assistant to freshman and sophomore level students. I also Tutored Mathematics to high school, middle school and elementary students from various background. I was an excelling student in math and have a GPA in Math of 3.8 from College. I have worked with children and adults for the past 10 years, as a teaching adjoin, teaching assistant, and tutor.
I also tutored French in college and was very well recommended by the head of department, especially since I am a native French speaker and holder of a Baccalaureaute in French.
I am very dedicated and love tutoring because I believe that with patience, dedication and lots of practice, we can be able to perform better on any subjects. Tutoring for me means extra help needed in order to understand better a given subject.
I like to encourage and motivate students so that at the end of the day, they can see how all their efforts paid off. I also like to give them advices on necessary skills required in order for them to perform well on their learning journey. I prefer using their own textbook and classroom materials.

Here are the subjects I tutor: ESL, Mathematics, Chemistry and French.

Amazing!

We needed a tutor at the last minute to help finish an assignment during quarantine. Cynthia was able to meet with us about 12 hours after my initial request. She responded quickly and made the process easy. Cynthia is an absolute fantastic tutor. My daughter loved her!

She is the best, and makes my teenage daughter so comfortable

CYNTHIA is amazing, and actually has accomplished helping my daughter, if not to enjoy learning French, to not run from it like she’s on fire, which is what she used to do when it came to studying for her French class. My daughter LOVED French last year, but has a different teacher this year, who uses other methods, and my daughter was falling WAY behind, until Cynthia. She is sooooo personable, and knowledgeable. I would recommend her to anyone.

Great First Lesson, Looking forward to more

I have a beginner/beginner-intermediate French background and I feel like I will become conversational this year. We went over the basics, she assessed me with basic conversation, she suggested certain texts and gave homework and great advice until we meet again.
