Bio

I have taught English and Creative Writing to grades three through twelve. I have also tutored high school and college students to write papers on literature. Working with California Poets in the Schools, I have conducted poetry workshops in grammar schools, middle schools and high schools.

I encourage students to use their own experiences to relate to literature and get immense satisfaction when they begin to appreciate great writing on their own.

I am a writer who works from home and I have a reasonably flexible schedule. I enjoy working with students and watching them learn. This is why I am interested in tutoring.
