Excellent, patient tutor
David has been tutoring my sixth grade son, Liam, for 15 lessons. David is extraordinary! My gifted son, had a block about writing essays. These assignments just overwhelmed him. We asked David to help Liam get his ideas organized and on paper without all the stress. We wanted Liam to develop into a good writer which is so vital to all his classes. David has really taken the time to get to know Liam, so that Liam enjoys their lessons. This gave Liam the confidence to "try" with David. David is so patient, kind and encouraging. Liam is flourishing. He finished the school year writing two projects, without any help, and received A's. The difference in Liam's skill is great, but his attitude toward writing is what has astounded us. He just writes now without all the trauma. This is wholly because of David's approach. Most tutors know the material, but David is so much more than lessons and feedback. He is someone who is a gifted, natural teacher. David is just excellent; and we intend to have him as part of Liam's educational journey for a long time to come. Five stars are not enough.

Great English tutor
David has helped my son think critically about what he reads and has also helped him with his writing skills. Originally we hired David to help my son acclimate to the rigor of his advanced English classes however we have stayed with him because my son is actually enjoying the lessons! David is easy to work with and is good at explaining concepts that my son is either unfamiliar with or needs greater understanding in. We would highly recommend David for reading comprehension, writing, and critical thinking skills.
