I am a 16 year English Teacher (mostly high school), College English Tutor, Multicultural Specialist (ESL/ELD), Masters in Education, thrive working with any population, but am really good helping ESL/ELD students. If you need help with a college paper whether it be research, persuasive, cause and effect, or an evaluation I am the person to contact. I am a 16 year English Teacher (mostly high school), College English Tutor, Multicultural Specialist (ESL/ELD), Masters in Education, thrive working with any population, but am really good helping ESL/ELD students. If you need help with a college paper whether it be research, persuasive, cause and effect, or an evaluation I am the person to contact. I can help with papers in any subject, but English is my specialty. I am a fully credentialed teacher in English, History (U.S. History, World History, American Government, and Economics), and Multiple Subjects (K-8). I have taught the past 12 years as a high school English teacher, English Department Chair (head), and ASB Director in the Inland Empire of Southern California. I love teaching and learning!

I am currently in the third year of my doctorate in Education and Social Justice from University of Redlands. I am deep in my dissertation and had to relearn APA because of the new manual. If you are a college student and need help with MLA or APA I am your girl. I can help with any type of essay and know APA like the back of my hand. I can edit your grammar, help you paraphrase sources, and show how to cite your sources.
I also am a native English Speaker and from teaching English truly understand the nuances of the language. I have coached many students for job interviews, scholarship interviews, and other professional situations where they are not confident in English. I promise to be patient if you struggle in English and will help you gain the fluency you want in any way I can!

I have been involved with the common core since it was rolled out. The district I worked for at the time formed a common core implementation team that I was a part of. I also served as the English Department Chair/Head for about 10 years and led many of my colleagues and students on how to use the English Common Core.

Extensive expertise in all levels of English. Specialty in Essay writing, editing, and helping students gain confidence in English. I served as English Department Head for 8 years and helped develop English curriculum for the school I taught at for 12 years. I worked with students not only in writing, but speaking, and reading skills as well. Every student will be treated with dignity, respect, and the utmost patience.

Although a test is unavailable I have certification in ESL/ESOL. I am CLAD on my teaching credential which means that I have an English Language Learner authorization. I also have a masters degree in education and I focused on multicultural education and numerous graduate courses that focused on ESL/ELD. I taught specific ELD I, II, and III. I also taught an ELD CAHSEE prep class.

Microsoft Word

I recently completed a master's thesis and learned Microsoft Word really well. I can teach how to use the advanced editing tools, how to set up an essay for MLA or APA style of writing. I can teach how to insert pictures, tables, clip art, and charts. I had to take a technology class to get my teaching credential and learned some more advanced applications for Word.
