Hi, I'm Srikanth — a naturopathic doctor and UCSF Integrative Medicine fellow with a Master of Science in Clinical Research.

I grew up in San Diego navigating a demanding science curriculum, and that experience has stayed with me through every stage of my training. I know what it takes to genuinely master this material — not just memorize it for a test.

After completing my ND and MS degrees through years of clinical rotations and graduate research, I'm now a fellow at UCSF. The science I teach isn't something I learned years ago and set aside — I'm working with it at a clinical and research level every day. That means students get something most tutors can't offer: real-world context for why the material matters.

I have been an active musician since 5th grade, and saxophonist since 6th grade. I started playing on alto for one year, played baritone for a few months, and then stuck to playing tenor sax since the middle 7th grade. I played in high school band every year and was first chair in the highest band by the beginning of my 3rd year. In high school I participated in music conservatory, where I was the only tenor saxophonist, Costal Community band, which only accepted one tenor saxophonist from San Diego county, and pit orchestra, where I played live music for the play Les Miserables. I would like to teach other lower level students to help them appreciate music and not have to pay too much for an expert teacher early on.

Amazing Tutor

Srikanth is amazing! He is extremely knowledgeable and is able to teach the material in an easy way. He takes complex problems and teaches them in simple terms and he has patience. I was able to ask questions and work through areas of difficulty because he is so patient and great at explaining and giving examples that help me visualize concepts in physics.
