I hold dual B.A. degrees in Molecular & Cellular Biology and Gender & Women’s Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, where I also served as an Undergraduate Student Instructor for general and organic chemistry. Teaching at Berkeley was where I discovered how much I enjoy breaking down difficult concepts and helping students find clarity in challenging material.

I’m currently an M.D. candidate and Master’s student in Clinical Research at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. My work focuses on immunogenetics and dermatologic disease, and I bring that same analytical mindset into my tutoring. Over the past seven years, I’ve worked with students in both academic and research settings—leading small groups, mentoring undergraduates, and training research teams. I specialize in biology, physiology, biochemistry, and chemistry, as well as test preparation for the MCAT and USMLE Step 1.

My approach is structured but flexible. I start by understanding how each student thinks, then tailor lessons to their strengths and goals. Whether we’re reviewing pathways, tackling practice problems, or organizing study plans, I emphasize clarity, logical reasoning, and strategy. My goal is to make complex topics approachable and help students build confidence through genuine understanding—not memorization.

Biology

3rd year medical student at UCLA; Undergraduate Molecular and Cellular Biology Degree
Chemistry

Chemistry

UC Berkeley Undergraduate Student Instructor - General and Organic Chemistry Current UCLA medical student w/ significant experience tutoring in biology, biochem and chemistry.
Genetics

Genetics

I have extensive experience in genetics through my B.A. in Molecular & Cellular Biology at UC Berkeley, as well as research in clinical and laboratory settings. I am currently an M.D. candidate and Master’s student at UCLA, where I study genetic associations in immune-mediated diseases. I have taught and mentored students in genetics and molecular biology, helping them understand complex concepts such as Mendelian inheritance, gene expression, and genomic analysis.
Neuroscience

Neuroscience

I have over four years of research experience at the UCSF Weill Institute for Neurosciences, where I studied neurological disease mechanisms and experimental techniques in cellular and molecular neuroscience. As a current medical student, I bring both clinical insight and a deep understanding of neuroanatomy, physiology, and neural signaling. I have experience mentoring and teaching students in both laboratory and classroom settings, helping them grasp complex concepts and apply critical thinking to problem-solving. My tutoring approach emphasizes clarity, active engagement, and building confidence in neuroscience concepts at all levels.
