I’m a Computational Neuroscience major at the University of Southern California (USC), with a strong background in biology, and calculus. Before transferring to USC, I studied Neuroscience and Biochemistry at Syracuse University, where I earned Dean’s List honors. My studies and research have given me a deep understanding of how scientific concepts connect—from molecular biology to the mathematical principles behind neural networks. I’m fluent in both English and Farsi, and I love sharing my language and culture with students who want to learn Persian in a fun and conversational way.
I’ve been tutoring for several years, working with students from elementary through college level in subjects like biology, calculus, and Farsi. I’ve also volunteered as a literacy and science tutor for children, helping them develop study habits and curiosity in STEM early on. My approach is centered on patience, clarity, and confidence-building. I believe students learn best when they truly understand why something works, not just how to memorize it. That’s why I focus on breaking down complex topics into logical, easy-to-follow steps, using real-world examples that make learning both relatable and enjoyable.
In every session, I tailor my teaching to each student’s learning style, goals, and pace. Whether you’re preparing for an AP exam, catching up on missed material, or starting a new language, I’m committed to helping you build lasting understanding and confidence. I want my students to walk away not only with higher grades, but with the tools and mindset to keep learning independently.
