Hi, I’m Paul—a professional writer, director, and producer with over 35 years of experience in film, television, and theater. I’ve worked with Disney, Universal, 20th Century Fox, Columbia, Paramount, NBC, CBS, and ABC on more than 100 produced projects, including drama series, TV pilots, feature films, plays, and TV movies. My credits include Disney’s Camp Rock, The X-Files, Quantum Leap, The New Twilight Zone, and Star Trek: Voyager and Enterprise.
My work has earned three Emmy and three Golden Globe nominations, an Edgar Award for Best TV Drama from the Mystery Writers of America, and the Humane Society’s Genesis Award for Best Drama Script on Animal Rights.

I graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Berkeley, as Valedictorian of the English department, then earned a Master’s in English Literature from Oxford University. In addition to literary studies, I pursued extensive coursework in film at Berkeley and theatre at Oxford, deepening my expertise in storytelling and performance.

Most recently, I completed an eight-part drama series for the producers of one of Netflix’s biggest hits. I also wrote and directed a play in collaboration with students from the Oxford University Dramatic Society.

For the past 15 years, I’ve been passionate about helping actors, writers, and directors develop their craft and build professional careers. I’ve taught students across America and in 22 countries throughout Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Whether in person, abroad, or online, my greatest joy is helping students excel—I look forward to doing the same for you.
