Helpful hints tutor

Lisa did a great job teaching me the different strategies to use during test taking. A lot of the session was spent going over format and tools you can use to get more points on the written part of the exam.

Knowledgeable tutor who really helps you step by step.

I had a tutoring session about CSET subtest 1. She started out by giving helpful tips on how to do good on the test. Our next session will really go into depth about subject matter and any questions I have. I am looking forward for another session! Lisa is a great tutor!

ABSOLUTELY STELLAR TUTOR!!

I am a graduate student at USC working towards my masters in physics and science education. I sought help from Lisa to prepare for my CSET General Science and CBEST mathematics. I have long struggled with standardized tests, and word problems. Lisa's extensive knowledge, and ability to integrate multiple disciplines and strategy was invaluable in my undertaking of the exams. In addition to tutoring me on the content and test-taking strategies, she made me feel comfortable, confident, and was able to reduce with my test anxiety; things that I have also struggled with, and have impacted my success in testing. Working with Lisa has literally been life-changing in my approach towards test-taking. I have been lucky to have worked with her, and will undoubtedly do so again in the future onward.
