I hold a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential as well as a Master's Degree in Education. I have experience in all grades and I am comfortable tutoring all school subjects. My most recent classroom experience was teaching middle school math, and I have over 10 years experience tutoring students in math. I also have extensive one-on-one tutoring experience helping students improve their reading skills. One of the most rewarding parts of being a teacher is helping students learn to read. As lifelong learners, first we learn to read, then we read to learn. Establishing solid reading skills equips students to be successful in whatever subjects they end up seeking to study.

Ever since I began working as a Teacher years ago, I have been passionate about helping students in their academic growth and personal development. I have over 15 years experience working as a teacher and private tutor. I am well organized and take pride in always being prepared. One of my favorite parts about tutoring is that every student is different. I customize every lesson based on the student's needs, goals, and learning style.
