Hello! Allow me to introduce myself: I'm Iris, and I have a lot of experience with students of all ages. Mainly a college-level instructor, I also tutor middle school students, and adults! I attended a Writing PhD program at Virginia Tech (2018-2021), hold an MA in English from Virginia Tech (pending degree award 2022), as well as an MA in Rhetoric and Writing Studies from San Diego State University (2016), and a BA in English and American Literature from The American College of Greece (2014). I have been teaching since 2010 as a private tutor, and have an 8-year experience teaching college writing.

In addition to developing writing skills, while tutoring I will help you work on your communication skills, and your public speaking skills--an important component of life. But most of all, my teaching pedagogy is informed by my will to see students thrive as a result of having faith in themselves and their abilities.
