Amazing, patient, and knowledgeable

April is an amazing tutor! She is extremely patient, understanding of her students’ needs, and goes above and beyond to make them feel comfortable, confident, and successful. My son had several tutors and April is the only one he doesn’t complain about seeing. He has learning challenges and she took the time to discover which teaching style suits him so that he understands concepts. Under her tutelage, he received his first ever 100% on a quiz! I recommend April to anyone who is looking for an amazing, patient, and knowledgeable tutor.

Excellent tutor for college Stats - especially Psych Stats & analytics

April is a fantastic tutor and has been a huge supporter for my kid who is a college freshman with a required psych stats class and a mumbling confusing professor. April is warm, encouraging, clear, and follows up. She turned a stressed out kid into a “I’ll get through this” kid. She pro-actively helps with different types of prep, ie for problem sets and study prep. She even reached out to me at one point to encourage accommodations that we didn’t know were available. I can’t recommend highly enough.

Awesome tutor!

When I looked at April profile, I knew that she will be a great fit for me in Algebra since I have a hard time understanding with math and all that. Our very first session was perfect! I love how she breaks down to every math problems we did together, also taking notes too since it was super important for me to understand since I have to show the work of how I got the answer. I would 100% recommend everyone to her. You won’t regret it

Very personable and thoughtful!

April was amazinggg, I had to pass statistics after failing it the first time around. I am going into my last semester of nursing school and was completely drained and hopeless. April helped give me hope and on such short notice. I started lessons with her 3 days before my final and she helped me more than my professor ever could. This was the only test I ever passed in this class, and because of her I am one step closer to graduating. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!!! She puts together lessons very quickly and efficiently, and makes it to where she’s focusing in on what you really need to pass!!
