I am a graduate of electrical engineering at UCLA. Over several years of tutoring, I have worked with students of all ages, from elementary school to college students, and it is always a joy to help each student reach their goals. Each student has their own unique starting point, so it is important to me to meet them where they are and help guide them on their journey to success, rather than simply waiting at the finish line. I am a graduate of electrical engineering at UCLA. Over several years of tutoring, I have worked with students of all ages, from elementary school to college students, and it is always a joy to help each student reach their goals. Each student has their own unique starting point, so it is important to me to meet them where they are and help guide them on their journey to success, rather than simply waiting at the finish line. I enjoy working with the basics and using them as tools to solve advanced problems.

I am able to tutor all levels of math and science. I am able to tutor a wide range of high school subjects, from pre-algebra through high school AP classes, including AP Calculus BC, AP Physics, AP Chemistry, AP Biology, and AP Statistics. I've also worked with elementary school and college students, continuing to apply the same principles of increasing confidence to achieve greater heights. My goal is to help each student to do their best in their classes, to minimize frustration, and to help them achieve their current goals and future aspirations. First if all JOEL KNOWS HIS STUFF. I emailed him my practice final the night before and he actually looked through it and wrote notes for each question. Not only did he explain everything thoroughly and correctly, he exhibited patience, kindness, and understanding. I couldn't ask for a better tutor in Multivariable calculus. He helped me reach a new level of confidence in the subject and I feel way better about my exam. In the short few hours we spent, I learned more than I did by myself and in class for the past 5 weeks. I look forward to having lessons with him again. THANKS SO MUCH JOEL!
