I’m a college essay coach and academic tutor (elementary math, pre-algebra, algebra1, writing, study skills) with more than 10 years of private tutoring experience*. I’ve helped dozens of students navigate the college essays process, including Common Application, personal statements and supplemental essays.

I especially enjoy helping students take an idea that feels ordinary, unfinished, or difficult to express and turn it into a clear, compelling essay that still sounds like them. I help with brainstorming, structure, organization, revision, clarity, and polishing while preserving each student’s authentic voice. My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative, and students and parents have especially valued the encouragement and confidence-building I bring to the process.

I also tutor elementary math, pre-algebra, Algebra 1 and study skills. I love working with students who need concepts explained clearly, patiently, and step by step. My goal is not just to help students complete an assignment, but to help them understand the material, build confidence, and become more independent learners.

I also provide support in English, academic writing, grammar, and essay development.

Whether a student is staring at a blank college essay, struggling with Algebra, or working to become a stronger writer, I create a positive, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress. I adapt my approach to each student’s goals, learning style, and confidence level.
