Bio

As a structural engineer, for over 25 years, mathematics is a natural topic in both practice and instruction. Besides my work experience as an engineer, I have volunteered at my church in teaching low income students in many countries where I was living; for example Egypt, UAE, Kuwait and more over now I have some students here in California some of them are studying in Santa Monica college and the rest are in high school.

Besides my work experience as an engineer, I have volunteered at my church in teaching low income students in many countries where I was living; for example Egypt, UAE, Kuwait and more over now I have some students here in California some of them are studying in Santa Monica college and the rest are in high school.

I offer assistance in a variety of mathematical topics, for my tenure as Lead Project Manager has allowed tremendous experience in both mathematical theory and it’s appropriate real life applications.

According to my 25 years experience in the Design and Civil Constructions Engineering field which were filled with plenty of mathematical applications for various construction processes one of the direct application of linear algebra is how to avoid the intersection between different kinds of cranes by calculating the the curl for the tower cranes arms also when using big digging equipmements like giant excavators working togther in deep excavation worksite which gives me a very wide experience in linear Algebra also the using the matrices properties to simplify the design calculations for instead of solving 9 equation in 9 unkown variables by finding the variable value using the inverse matrix to eliminate 8 umkown and evaluate the 9th and so on. As it is clear linear Algebra is one of the back bone of the Engineering applied math especially in design and construction fields which helped me a lot tutoring that topic for both high school and colleges students' in many countries where ever I was working also this gives me an excellent experience for how to deal with the different cultures students by providing in depth learning experiences filled with productive exercises, meaningful advices, plenty of direct supports, and encouragement they need to improve their mathematics skills and building their self confidence to have the concept of success . This is my 1st lesson with Sami. He taught me about how to find limits and the average rate of change. I like that he showed me how to put variables into the formula on how to find the limits and the average rate of change. He also showed me how to find the limits on the graph.
