Hey! My name is Dylan and I just graduate UCLA with a degree in economics. I have over 7 years of experience tutoring at many levels, from middle school up to fellow college students! I love getting to know my students, and helping frame topics they’ve learned in a new way; most of the time, a topic just needs to be presented differently, or broken down further.

I have taken and passed AP tests in math (statistics and calculus), science (biology, environmental sciences, and chemistry), computer science, history (US History), English (literature), and Spanish. I also have taken all the lower division requirements of Mechanical Engineering at UCLA—I changed majors last year—so I have a very deep background in STEM. I received a 35 and a 1570 on my ACT and SAT respectively.

I have taken high school math and many college courses, including multivariable calculus, statistics, differential equations, and linear algebra. I received a 5 on the AP Calculus test and a 4 on the AP statistics test.

I have taken several college chemistry courses, but no organic chemistry. I will be able to help explain topics and aid in any upcoming tests, and excel in all subjects covered by the AP exam.

I am a nearly fluent Spanish speaker, and I learned entirely from school. I can help teach all reading, writing, speaking, and listening from the perspective of someone that it doesn’t all come instinctively to.
