Hello hello! I am Ari, a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Occidental College with a Bachelor's Degree in English (Creative Writing Emphasis). I started writing as a profession in 2016, and have since then been formally trained and certified for writing in news, business, fiction, and film.
I wrote my first lesson plan back in 2016, when I started working as an English TA at St. Dorothy's Catholic School. I wrote, designed, printed out, and graded my own quizzes under the observation of Mr. Dennis Wanstrath. I started out mostly working for second through fourth grade, but in 2021, I advanced to high school subjects and and going over college application essays.
In 2022, I had the wonderful pleasure of studying with CIEE Prague for Journalism and Film, where I had the honor of attending both Charles University for Journalism and FAMU (Prague Film School) for Screenwriting. During my time there, I was part of a program for tutoring Czech middle-schoolers in the English language while simultaneously practicing my Czech.
I have also given guest lectures at the college level at SCCUR Fullerton and NCUR Long Beach. These lectures were on Linguistics and Translation Theory, which is the subject I intend to study at the PhD level.
