If your student needs to improve their academic abilities and discover a love of learning, then I am your tutor! I am passionate about helping students improve their skills and confidence in academic areas so that they can move on to achieve their full potential. I have worked with all ages, from elementary school students to graduate students. I have successfully connected with each person, where they are at, and I found a way to help them improve their abilities, gain confidence, and enjoy learning!

I am trained in phonics programs including Seeing Stars (Lindamood-Bell), Sonday System (Orton-Gillingham) as well as "Step Up to Writing" and I can provide academic support from grades 1st through 12th. For 13 years, I taught high school students and supported them with developing executive functioning skills, develop study skills habits, overcome social and testing anxiety, write essays for general education classes, and supported them in math through Geometry.
My experience includes supporting students with mental health challenges, behavior challenges, dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADHD, PANDAS, Down Syndrome, legally deaf, legally blind, intellectual disabilities, and everything in between.
Former students stay in touch with me and tell me that I am the reason they are still alive, I am the reason they graduated high school, I am the reason they became a teacher, and I even support them when they are taking college level classes.
Please contact me today to find out how I can help your student discover their true potential to increase a love of learning and a love of life.
