Excellent geometry tutor
Janet tutored my 9th grader on geometry and he found her to be kind, patient, and very good at explaining difficult concepts. She designed a multi-week curriculum to help him learn concepts that were not covered last year due to changes made to the math class during the pandemic. She gave him homework for each lesson and reported on his progress after every class which was very helpful. We would definitely use her again if our son needed a little extra help during the year.

Professional and Effective Calculus Tutor
My son will be taking AP Calculus AB next school year and we have asked Janet to give him a preview of the course this summer. It's been a month and 7 lessons, and my son has made excellent progress. Janet is knowledgeable, effective and patient. Her lessons are engaging and my son feels comfortable asking Janet questions. Janet gives appropriate amount of homework, quizzes and unit tests. She is easy to work with and can make adjustments to the lessons or homework load based on feedback of the student/parents. Janet's summary after each class provides the parents an overview of what was covered in the class and addresses any areas of concern. Overall, we are very happy with Janet!
