Hi! My name is Asal and I’m a recent Human Biology graduate from the University of California, Irvine. I've always loved learning and sharing knowledge, which is what inspired me to be a tutor. Over the years, I've had the chance to support learners of all ages and backgrounds, from preschoolers to college students.

Academically, I have a strong foundation in biology, chemistry, physics, math, and the humanities, as well as hands-on experience in teaching and mentoring. I've worked as a teacher's assistant for special needs students, taught elementary students complex health and biological topics in an accessible way, and tutored high school students across subjects from STEM to essay writing. These experiences, combined with my studies and background in research writing, allow me to adapt to many different learning goals and styles.

My tutoring approach is patient, encouraging, and flexible. I focus on breaking down challenging material into clear, manageable steps while keeping lessons engaging and supportive. Whether using practice problems, visual explanations, or open discussions, I adjust my approach to fit each student's needs. My goal is to help students not only succeed academically but also feel confident and motivated in their own abilities.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a lesson. I look forward to supporting you in your learning journey!
