I am Allison, a recent Biology graduate from the University of La Verne with a minor in Chemistry. I am now pursuing my Master’s degree in Genetics, continuing to build on my strong academic and research foundation. My long-term goal is to work in the fields of genomics, and I bring that same passion for science into every tutoring session. I specialize in tutoring biology, genetics, cell biology, and geology.

I have conducted extensive research in genetics, with experience in computational biology, molecular techniques, and real-world data analysis. My research background allows me to connect classroom learning to practical scientific applications, helping students understand not only the “what” but also the “why” behind complex concepts.

I have been tutoring since high school, covering subjects such as history, science, and English. In college, I worked as both a biology and public speaking tutor, guiding peers through challenging material and helping them grow in confidence. My teaching style is patient, clear, and interactive I enjoy breaking down complex scientific ideas into engaging and relatable lessons.
