I am a flutist, pianist, and music educator with extensive experience teaching and performing in a variety of settings. I hold a Master of Music in Performance from Montclair State University, where I graduated with a 4.0 GPA, and a Bachelor of Music in Performance from the University of Utah. During my studies, I was recognized with multiple awards, including the Presser Undergraduate Scholar Award, and I participated in prestigious performance opportunities such as the Atlantic Music Festival, where I collaborated with composers and ensembles on contemporary works.

I currently teach flute, beginner piano, and music theory at the New School of Music in Cambridge, MA, the Go Go Allegro School of Music in Belmont, MA, and Vivace Music School in Watertown, MA. Over the years, I have taught children as young as preschool age through adults, adapting my teaching style to each student’s goals and learning preferences. My experience includes private lessons, group classes, ensemble coaching, and online instruction for international students. I enjoy tailoring lessons to students—whether that means playful activities for younger children, structured preparation for school performances, or in-depth coaching for more advanced musicians.

I believe that music education is not only about mastering an instrument but also about developing focus, confidence, and self-expression. Lessons are offered online, at my Cambridge studio in MIT’s Tang Hall, or at a student’s home. Whether the focus is flute, beginner piano, or music theory, I aim to make lessons encouraging, enjoyable, and meaningful for every student.
