I can help you score higher on the Writing, Reading, and Math sections of the SAT! In addition, I have 99th %-ile score on the ACT: English 36/36 (100%-ile), Math 35/36 (99%-ile), Reading 34/36 (98%-ile), Science 31 (95%-ile), Composite: 34/36 (99%-ile). Studying for the ACT/SAT is just like preparing for any sport: it requires drills and practice, practice, practice with REAL ACT/SAT questions. In order to score high, you need to get into the minds of the test makers.

I just focus on the areas in which you are struggling (or need review) and give you detailed, thorough explanations. Since you are my only student, I have the time to answer your individual questions, rather than having to move on to the next topic quickly. We can decide to skip over questions that are easy for you and focus on ones that are giving you problems.

Most helpful tutor I've ever had

I've spent a lot of money looking for good SAT/ACT prep and switching tutoring companies, but out of all the tutors I've come across, Lalita has genuinely helped me with both the ACT, SAT, and overall has bettered my comprehension in everything we have gone over. I've worked with her for a few months, and she builds a lesson schedule based upon your schedule and what your goals are within a certain time. She's very understanding when it comes to homework and is not the type of tutor to be frustrated when you haven't completed and make you feel anxious about it. Moreover, beyond tutoring, Lalita is a great person and easy to talk to. I've improved a lot and have stayed on track with my test prepping because of her.
